Moby will perform in Israel on July 12th.

Moby will perform, along with a few other well known performers such as Kruder and Dorfmeister and Duran Duran  in the "picnic" festival in Tel-Aviv, this July. Moby (49) returns to Israel after last performing here way back in the 90's, as part of his world tour to promote his new album - "Destroyed". Among his more known songs you can find:

A few fun "Moby Facts":
- Moby was born in New-York under the name Richard Melville Hall. 
- He is related to the writer Hermen Melville who wrote the famous book "Moby Dick" where it is said he got his famous stage name.
- He plays the guitar, drums and keyboard. 
- Among his many achievements you can find 8 songs that reached the top 40 in Britain and Gold and Platinum prizes in more than 30 countries. 
- All of the songs from his album "Play" have been used either in movie soundtracks or in other well known advertisements/commercials. 
- Until 2009 Moby ran a small tea house in New-York and sometimes even gave waitered on his customers.
