George Benson in Israel on the 21st of July 2011

Grammy winning, American Jazz player, George Benson, will join many other international singers (such as Kruder and DorfmeisterRoxetteMobyDuran DuranPaul SimonBryan Ferry, Jane's Addiction, Bob Dylan, 10cc and Suede) and arrive this summer in Israel and perform on the 21st of July, 2011 at the Amphi Theater at Caesarea. Benson, aged 67, was born in Pennsylvania and made his musical breakthrough at the age of 21 as a Jazz guitarist, although even before then he was playing with the top guns of Jazz such as Herbie Hancock, Jeff Macduff and Wess Montgomery. In 1976 Benson received a Grammy for his first album named "Breezin" which became a Platinum album and reached the #1 in the American hit lists. Benson recorded 30 albums and is know as a pioneer in the mixing of R&B and Rock with Jazz. Among his more famous songs one can find: "The Greatest Love Of All" and "Give Me The Night"
During his performance in Israel, Benson will play all his greatest hits accompanied by piano and keyboard player David Garfield, Stanley Banks on the bass guitar, Micheal O'Neil on the guitar and vocals and drumer Oscar Siton.
